
TEXARKANA, Ark. — Arkansas High’s tennis program was crowned conference champions for the first time in eight years while advancing to the Class 5A state tournament on Monday and Tuesday at Rebsamen Tennis Center in Little Rock.
The Razorbacks earned 15 of the potential 22 points this week in the Class 5A-South conference tournament at Lakeside High School in Hot Springs, Arkansas.
The boys’ doubles team of Bryce Jones and Garrett Pendergraft ran their conference unbeaten record to 14-0 on the season. Jones, Pendergraft, and Andrew Tye will go into the state tournament as one of the top overall seeds in their bracket.
