WWU men’s basketball notches season-opening win versus Daeman

Western Washington University men’s basketball used a strong second half to defeat Daeman University, 83-72, in its first regular season game of the season on Friday, Nov. 3 at the Langley Events Centre in Langley, British Columbia.

The Vikings (1-0) entered halftime leading by just one before outscoring Daeman (0-1) by 10 in the second half, 43-33, to secure the win. It was the first of three games in as many days to begin the season for Western at the DII Canadian Tip-Off Classic tournament.
