Ronnie O’Sullivan will face Pang Junxu in the first round of the World Grand Prix in Leicester next month (January 15-21 2024) after the conclusion of the Scottish Open on Sunday confirmed the 32 qualifiers for the prestigious ranking event.
Top seed Trump will take on Jamie Jones with matches in the first and second round all contested over the best of seven frames.
The length of the matches increase to the best of nine in the quarter-finals before two best-of-11 frame semi-finals and a best-of-10 frame final for a £100,000 first prize.
The tie of the first round sees former world champions John Higgins and Shaun Murphy paired together, while defending champion Mark Allen against Jack Lisowski is another standout fixture.

After the conclusion of the World Grand Prix, the 40-time ranking event is due to meet Julien Leclercq in Berlin in the first round of the German Masters on Monday January 29.
O’Sullivan claimed the German Masters title in 2012 with a 9-7 win over Stephen Maguire.
