Lonnie Walker IV, the dynamic 25-year-old guard, has agreed to sign with Lithuanian powerhouse Zalgiris Kaunas, one of the Euroleague’s most competitive and storied teams.
This move was confirmed by his agent, George S. Langberg of GSL Sports Group, in a report to Shams Charania.
The contract includes an NBA buyout clause, which allows Walker the flexibility to return to the NBA if an opportunity arises before February 18.
This feature in his contract could be a strategic choice, giving him the option to play abroad while remaining open to returning to the NBA mid-season.
