MOTOCADDY ANNOUNCES MULTI-YEAR PARTNERSHIP WITH LEADING PRO TOUR – Golf News

Motocaddy has annouced the continuation of its successful partnership with the Clutch Pro Tour under a new multi-year agreement, which sees it designated as the ‘Official Trolley & Laser’ of the leading development tour, which provides a perfect stepping stone into the professional game.

The renewed partnership underscores Motocaddy’s ongoing commitment to supporting the development of emerging professional golfers, with this season’s first event set to take place at Al Ain Golf Club, UAE, from 18-20 March.

MOTOCADDY PARTNERSHIP

“This expanded partnership with the Clutch Pro Tour reflects our dedication to enhancing the professional game and supporting the next generation of talent,” said Oliver Churcher, Marketing Director at Motocaddy.

“We’re excited to build on the success of the past two seasons and look forward to bringing another incredible year of competitive golf to players and fans alike, he added.”

Motocaddy will have branding and course signage, along with product placement at every event of the expanded global schedule.

The brand will also be included in the comprehensive promotion of the events across the Clutch Pro Tour social media channels and digital marketing.

AMBASSADOR PROGRAMME

In addition to its unwavering support of the Tour, Motocaddy is also pleased to continue its successful #TeamMotocaddy ambassador programme for the 2025 season.

The world’s leading trolley brand will expand its professional roster well into double figures with hot prospects Jordan Wrisdale, Giles Evans, Tyler Hogarty, Rebecca Earl and Imogen Courtney already confirmed to represent Motocaddy in the Professional ranks this season.

Last year, three members of the team (John Gough, Callum Farr and Olly Huggins) finished within the top 10 of the season-ending Clutch Pro Tour Order of Merit.

This followed #TeamMotocaddy’s George Bloor and Curtis Knipes’s successful progression to the Challenge Tour in 2023.

As part of the exciting Tour sponsorship, Motocaddy will proudly host a Tier 1 title event this season, with the hugely popular Motocaddy Masters taking place at the iconic St Mellion Estate from 20-22 May.

The Jack Nicklaus-designed course, with its rich championship heritage, has previously hosted DP World Tour events and promises to offer a challenging yet rewarding test for players competing at the highest level.

Designed to give developing professional golfers the opportunity to compete at some of the world’s top championship courses, the Clutch Pro Tour features 19, 54-hole tournaments, including a Grand Final in October at Al Hamra Golf Club in the UAE, which includes a £100,000 prize fund.  All players can once again earn Official Golf World Ranking points.

During the regular season, players will compete for a £50,000 prize fund per event and a chance to win three full Challenge Tour cards for the 2026 season, along with three DP World Tour Q-School Second Stage exemptions and 30 Challenge Tour invites. The top-3 in the Order of Merit also unlock a £30,000 bonus fund (£10,000 each).

In addition to its Tier 1 involvement, Motocaddy’s support extends to 11 Tier 2 events, plus the brand-new International Series, which will bring competitive action to premier golfing destinations across the UAE, Oman and Morocco.

Competing for the mixed-gender £50,000 purse in Tier 1, the three leading female golfers will receive free Clutch Pro Tour 2026 membership, along with a club deal, a Motocaddy trolley, and a selection of other prizes from sponsors.

An additional £20,000 is available per event across the 11 Tier 2 events, bringing the total prize fund to £1.3 million across the professional ranks.

“We are thrilled to continue our partnership with Motocaddy, a brand that has been an integral part of our journey,” said Clutch Pro Tour, Co-founder and Director Tom Hayward.

“The players love working with Motocaddy’s industry-leading products, which enhance their game both in competition and in preparation.

Having a trusted partner like Motocaddy by our side strengthens our commitment to providing the best possible experience for players as they progress through their professional careers,” he added.
