2025 AQUATICS GB SWIMMING CHAMPIONSHIPS
The 2025 Aquatics GB Swimming Championships are upon us, with action kicking off tomorrow, Tuesday, April 15th and spanning through Sunday, April 20th.
This competition represents the sole qualifying opportunity for British stars to add their names to the nation’s roster for this year’s World Championships, although qualification for numerous junior teams, including the World and European Junior Swimming Championships, U23 European Swimming Championships and European Youth Olympic Festival, is also on the line.
The Aquatics GB selection policy for Singapore states that any individual Olympic medalist from the 2024 Olympic Games will have earned a slot on the World Championships roster. Additionally, any relay medalist who raced in the Paris final has also booked his/her spot on the World Championships relay.
With that criteria in mind, the following athletes have already been penciled in for Singapore for Great Britain:
For the remaining roster slots, swimmers will be chasing Aquatics GB-mandated qualification standards along with placing in the top two positions in each event.
The schedule of events is below, noting that there are B-Finals beginning at 6pm local before the junior and A-finals beginning at 7pm local.
The events will be livestreamed on Aquatics GB’s YouTube site and coverage will also be shown across BBC iPlayer and the BBC Sport website and app.
