Club Olympia Swim team will be holding tryouts for potential new members from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Thursday at the Columbus East High School pool.
Tryouts will consist of a 20-minute evaluation, and parents must sign up their swimmer for a time slot for that evening by visiting the club’s website at clubolympiaswimteam.com. Swimmers should come with goggles and a swim cap and will be asked to demonstrate their ability to swim a 50-yard freestyle, as well as a 25-yard breaststroke, 25-yard butterfly and 25-yard backstroke.
Entry to the pool will be through Door 39 near the tennis courts parking lot behind the school.
