Bid to Play Tennis on Arthur Ashe Stadium Court

By Alberto Amalfi | @Tennis_Now | Tuesday, September 12, 2024

You don’t need to win three rounds of US Open qualifying or hold a high world ranking to earn your place on Arthur Ashe Stadium Court.

Now, tennis fans, you can secure your spot on the largest Grand Slam stadium in the world—and contribute to a worthy cause in the process.

All it takes is a dream and some (read: several thousand) dollars.

Charity Buzz is hosting a charity auction to Play on Arthur Ashe Stadium Court with the winning bid going directly to the USTA Foundation.

The charity auction is open now through September 14th.

To place a bid, or learn more, please visit this Play on Arthur Ashe Stadium link.

The winning bid is estimated to be around $8,000 which will buy four players one hour of play on the famed Arthur Ashe Stadium on the grounds of the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center.

As a former resident of Astoria, Queens, who has had the good fortunate to play on the US Open outer courts and indoor courts many, many times (and, truth be told, taken my fair share of thrashings), I can assure you this is truly a dream opportunity for US Open fans.

Additional details of the Arthur Ashe Stadium-USTA Foundation charity auction are here:

This experience is only valid for Arthur Ashe Stadium Center Court, located at the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center in Flushing, NY. Valid for up to 4 people.

Admission to the grounds of the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center is subject to security screening and the United States Tennis Association Incorporated (USTA) reserves the right to deny access in its sole and absolute discretion. The winner and their guests shall adhere to all Federal, State, and Local laws, safety protocols, and security measures.

Due to on-going health, safety, and security measures, the preceding is subject to change at any time at the sole discretion of the USTA Foundation and/or the USTA.
