Two legends of the sport took to praise Diego Schwartzman for his legendary career on Thursday: Rafael Nadal and Novak Djokovic. The Argentine, who completed his playing career with a loss to Pedro Martinez before being sent off by home fans in an emotional on-court farewell, received notes from both on social media.
“Congratulations on your great career!” Nadal wrote. “You have been a great example of struggle and overcoming and I am glad that we have shared so many moments on the circuit. Enjoy your next stage!”
