International Championship snooker: How to watch Mark Allen, Mark Selby, Mark Williams and Jack Lisowski begin title bid

Mark Allen, Mark Selby, Mark Williams, Kyren Wilson and Jack Lisowski begin their respective International Championship title bids in Sheffield on Thursday.

The top-16 players are all in action in the qualifiers at Ponds Forge hoping to secure a trip to China for the final stages in the city of Tianjin – 5-12 November live on Eurosport and discovery+.

UK champion Allen, the 2018 International Championship winner, opens his campaign against Ma Hailong at 9:30am (British Summer Time) with Jack Lisowski meeting He Guoqiang in another morning match.

Two-time International champion Selby takes on Muhammad Asif at 2:30pm with Wilson facing Adam Duffy before the three-time Crucible winner Williams takes to the baize against Rebecca Kenna at 7:30pm.

You can watch all the qualifying matches on discovery+ and eurosport.com throughout the first round which concludes on Saturday afternoon.

Pagett loses frame on three-miss rule in whitewash loss to Hawkins

2015 world champion Stuart Bingham booked his spot in the finals venue with a 6-0 whitewash of Xing Zihao on Wednesday, while Iran’s No. 1 Hossein Vafaei is also through to the last 64 after hitting two centuries in a 6-1 win over Reanne Evans, who produced breaks of 53 and 77.

18-year-old tour rookie Liam Pullen completed a 6-4 win over 2006 world champion Graeme Dott, who lost the first frame on the three-miss rule, boosted by runs of 119 and 101.

Scottish Open champion Gary Wilson was also in fine form as he took just 81 minutes to complete a 6-0 whitewash of Mohamed Ibrahim with knocks of 103, 89, 64, 103 and 94.
