Stay focused. Use the same routine on every shot, short or long.
Staying focused is often difficult when doing any task, but in golf, it is more difficult due to the many distractions, such as looking at the landscape, talking to someone in your group or just not thinking.
It takes mental conditioning to stay focused for eighteen holes. Develop and stick to a set routine for every shot.
It doesn’t have to be as complex as PGA professional Keegan Bradley’s routine. Keep it simple, and do not deviate from your routine shot-to-shot.
Before hitting your shot, look at the shot as if you had already missed the first shot and now you have a second chance.
This thought process can be used for every shot, especially putting. This will help you get into the moment and focus more on the shot.
Don’t forget to enjoy this great game called golf.
